WORK ZONE SIGN PACKAGE PROGRAM

When funding is available, the WV LTAP offers the Work Zone Sign Package Program for local agencies in West Virginia. The program began in 1996 with the goal of helping West Virginia municipalities make their work zones safer for motorists, pedestrians, and roadway workers. Each package consists of traffic control devices that communities can use to warn and guide traffic around and through road construction and maintenance zones.

WV LTAP selects winners based on their application's demonstrated need of work zone traffic control devices and commitment to work zone safety. This program may be announced in our quarterly newsletter Country Roads & City Streets, our eNewsletter Road & Street Speak, and our Facebook page.

Stay tuned for you next opportunity to apply.
