TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
The WV LTAP staff is dedicated to providing hands-on expertise to West Virginia communities. Our staff can provide on-site technical assistance on a wide range of issues to help communities solve problems involving traffic congestion, sidewalk management, pedestrian and bicycle safety, intersection control, drainage, road surface management, and many others.
The WV LTAP staff is also available to conduct roadway safety reviews or audits of roads and streets, upon request. Through field visits and analysis of crash data, WV LTAP staff can assist with identifying specific problems and suggest counter measures for the identified problems.
The WV LTAP staff can also provide in-office help by locating electronic, print, and media resources that can be used to gain more information on specific roadway issues.
