DescriptionÂ
This free, 4-hour online course introduces the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) design requirements and guidelines for public rights-of-way. It discusses design challenges and options, based on engineering design guidelines, for engineers and designers. Familiarity with the U.S. Access Board's draft Proposed Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way is recommended, but not required, prior to attending this course.
