Class Details
March 15 - 9:00AM to 2:00PM (There will be a one-hour break for lunch from 11:00AM to noon.)
This is a comprehensive training program developed to educate on the hazards in trench and excavation work in the transportation construction industry.
Class Objectives
- Identify basic hazards associated with trenching and excavation.
- Explain how protective systems work and how they protect workers.
- Describe inspection requirements, duties of the "competent person" and other safety considerations in trenching and excavation.
Additional Information These sessions will be conducted virtually through Zoom at no charge. However, pre-registration via the class Zoom link is required. Since each class is limited to 40 attendees, your registration will not be immediately approved. Once approved, you will receive the registration link that will allow you to access the class.
