WORK ZONE SIGN PACKAGE PROGRAM
When funding is available, the WV LTAP offers the Work Zone Sign Package Program for local agencies in West Virginia. The program began in 1996 with the goal of helping West Virginia municipalities make their work zones safer for motorists, pedestrians, and roadway workers. Each package consists of traffic control devices that communities can use to warn and guide traffic around and through road construction and maintenance zones.
For calendar year 2024, we anticipate opening the application process the week of June 3rd. More details or any changes to this schedule will be posted here.
