OVERVIEW


Attendees will learn about the many roadway problems caused by improper drainage and best practices to solve these problems. Different types of drainage structures, appropriate uses for different structures, different material considerations, proper pipe sizing, and  the maintenance of structures will be discussed.

Upon completion of the class, attendees should be able to:

  • Understand water and its effects

  • Understand the importance of good drainage

  • Understand proper maintenance of drainage facilities

This class should be of interest to maintenance workers, supervisors, technicians, engineers, and anyone else involved with selecting or placing drainage materials.
