Chainsaw Safety & Felling Demonstration

OVERVIEW


This one-day class focuses on safety efforts needed to operate a chainsaw. The class focuses on chainsaw safety, personal protective equipment, communicating with others, maintenance, the proper way to fell trees, and the proper use of chainsaw equipment.

AUDIENCE


This class should be of interest to anyone who uses chain saws, and either supervisors or the person directly responsible for cutting trees and bush, including laborers, road crews, highway maintenance workers, etc. If you have used a chainsaw before, use one now, or think you might, this class is for you.
